Drink Before You're Thirsty.
For low-intensity, short duration exercise (under 60 minutes) as long as you follow a healthy balanced diet and drink plenty of water before you start, there is no real need to replace electrolytes before, during or after your session.
However, short high-intensity work outs (especially in the heat or extreme cold) & long low-intensity exercise (over 2 hours) can take their toll on your hydration.
If you're a 'salty sweater' (your sweat stings, tastes salty or leaves a white residue on skin or clothing) we suggest a rehydration supplement.
Start with your reserves full & drink little and often right from the start of your workout.
Aim to take 2-3 good sized gulps from your bottle every 10-15 minutes. Just like eating on the go, you’re not drinking for that moment but for the moment 10-20 miles down the road.
Recommended usage:
Mix a single 7g sachet with 500ml of cold water & shake well.
500ml 1-2 hours before prolonged or intense exercise
150-200ml immediately before you begin
500-750ml per hour during extended exercise
500ml within 20 minutes of finishing exercise
We use real fruit in our Real Hydration products which may naturally settle after time - a simple 'shake-to-wake' of your bottle will revive the mix for optimal hydration.
We recommend soft nozzle bottles such as the Camelbak Podium style or Veloforte Hydro-Pro bottles. Their wide aperture, low resistance nozzle is perfect for our Real Hydration range & they really make a difference when you are hydrating at pace.
For endurance exercise longer than 60 minutes, it is important to replace fluids, electrolytes & calories if you want to avoid the effects of dehydration & fatigue.
Once mixed consume within 24 hours

Our real hydration range is refreshingly still with no fake fizz. Rather than compressing into tablets, that require caking agents to hold them together and then fizzy effervescent ingredients to make them dissolve fully in water, we’ve chosen to keep all our hydration ingredients in a powder form. Our naturally delicious free flowing powder blends dissolve readily in water and you can actually see the freeze dried fruits within each blend. They don’t fizz in the bottle and they won't fizz on your insides making them gentle on your palate and easy on your digestion all day long.
