Thirteen items across four formats: three energy gels (Riba, Rosso and Limon), one pack of Nero energy chews, six electrolyte drink mixes (three Passo and three Solo) and three plant-protein shakes (Nova, Molto and Cappo). All three gels are Informed Sport certified.

Riders who train indoors: Zwift races and group rides, structured workouts in ERG mode, Peloton classes, long winter endurance rides on the turbo, and anyone who has finished a session soaked in sweat and wondering what to have next. It is made for indoor cycling and works just as well on the road, the trails or the treadmill.
-
It depends on how long and how hard you ride. For an easy session under an hour, water or an electrolyte drink is often enough. For sessions over an hour, hard intervals or a race, many riders take carbohydrate during the ride, little and often, starting before energy drops. Indoors there are no descents or traffic lights, so you pedal the whole time, and that is easy to underestimate.
-
Outside, the air moving past you carries heat away. Indoors there is no wind, so your body works harder to stay cool and many riders sweat more than they do on the road. A strong fan helps. So does starting with an electrolyte drink in your bottle and sipping it through the session, to put back some of the sodium you lose in sweat.
-
Solo is apricot and sage with 350mg of sodium and 5g of carbohydrate a sachet, so it suits easier rides and sessions where you want electrolytes without much energy. Passo is mango and passionfruit with 275mg of sodium and 22g of carbohydrate, so it suits longer or harder sessions where you want energy in the bottle too. Both are still, with no fake fizz.
-
Ride your way. As a starting point: an electrolyte drink in your bottle from the first pedal stroke, a few good gulps every 10 to 15 minutes, then a gel or a few Nero chews when the intervals start or the race splits. Limon, with 45g of carbohydrate, is the one to save for the hardest efforts. Afterwards, mix a recovery shake with water or your choice of milk.
-
About 220g for riding: 97g across the three gels, 43g in the Nero chews and 81g across the six drink mixes. Nova adds another 40g for recovery. The six drink mixes cover six sessions, and the gels and chews give you four harder sessions with carbohydrate on board. Your own needs will vary with how long and how hard you ride.
-
For 30 to 45 minutes of hard effort, an electrolyte drink is usually the place to start, Passo if you want some energy in the bottle. If you are riding on an empty stomach or doing back-to-back sessions, Riba, at 22g of carbohydrate, is a light gel to take before you start or at halfway. Have a recovery shake afterwards if it is your main session of the day.
-
Yes, and it may be the best place. You can control the effort, the bottle is always within reach and nothing is at stake, so you can find out which gels, chews and drink mixes suit you and how much you can comfortably take in an hour before you rely on it outside.
-
No. None of the 13 items is a caffeinated product, so the box works for evening sessions too. Cappo is made with decaffeinated coffee. If you want a caffeine lift for a race, our Desto and Doppio gels and Attivo drink mix each contain 75mg of natural caffeine from guarana and are sold separately.
-
Nova is banana and cocoa with carbohydrate and protein in a 3:1 ratio, 13.5g of protein a serve and maca, which helps support physical and mental performance and feelings of vitality.
Molto is vanilla and cinnamon with 20g of protein and ashwagandha, to help maintain stamina, energy and vitality.
Cappo is coffee and cocoa with 20g of protein and turmeric, which helps support digestion and joint health.
All three are plant protein. Protein contributes to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass, and carbohydrates contribute to the recovery of normal muscle function after highly intensive and/or long-lasting exercise (aim to consume 4g/kg of carbohydrates from a variety of sources within 4 hours of exercise).
They are suitable for over 16s only, with a recommended intake of 1 serving a day.
-
All three gels are Informed Sport certified, which means each batch is tested for banned substances. Check each product page for the certification status of the chews, drink mixes and shakes.
-
All 13 items are vegan and gluten free. Check each product page for full allergen information, including may-contain warnings.

Yes. It is nutrition, so it works with any smart trainer, turbo, indoor bike or training app, whether you ride on Zwift, MyWhoosh, TrainerRoad, a Wahoo KICKR or a Peloton. Veloforte is not affiliated with these brands. We simply make the fuel that sits beside the bike.
-
There are no artificial colours, flavours, sweeteners or preservatives in any of the 13 items. The carbohydrate comes from fruit and natural syrups, the sodium comes from salt, the protein comes from plants, and every ingredient is listed on its product page.
-
Our belief is simple: nature, no nonsense. Much of the nutrition industry has leaned on artificial shortcuts to hit its numbers. We craft every product as a recipe from real, recognisable ingredients, built to perform on the bike and made from real food, so you can feel good about what you put in your body the rest of the time too. Performance today, longevity tomorrow.
-
Veloforte is organised around what your body needs: Perform for fuelling training and racing, Nourish for daily nutrition, Recover for after you finish, and Restore for collagen, magnesium and functional nutrition. The Indoor Training Bundle covers Perform and Recover, with gels, chews and electrolytes for the session and plant-protein shakes for afterwards.
