Cycling Bundle Questions
-
Sixteen products across four formats: five energy gels (Riba, Desto, Doppio, Rosso and Limon), five energy chews (Citro, Fresco, Mela, Amaro and Nero), three energy bars (Ciocco, Classico and Avanti) and three electrolyte drink mixes (Solo, Passo and Attivo). All five gels are Informed Sport certified.

For any competition, event, sportive, a gravel day or a long club ride, the box holds about 510g of carbohydrate. Many riders aim for 60 to 90g an hour, which makes it roughly 8 hours of fuel at 60g an hour, or just under 6 at 90g. Your own needs will vary with pace, heat and how hard the day gets.
-
Riders who go long: sportives, gravel days, club runs, training weekends and long turbo sessions, and anyone who has stared down a climb at hour four wondering what to eat. It is made for cycling, and suits other endurance sports too, before and during exercise.
-
Yes. Everything is individually wrapped and made to be carried. Gels weigh 33 to 67g, chew packs 50g and bars 55g, so three gels, a pack of chews and a bar come to about 200g and sit easily in a jersey pocket, with a drink mix ready for your bottle.
-
Ride your way: eat what you need, when you need it. As a starting point, take a bar in the early miles while the effort is easy, chews and gels when the pace lifts, an electrolyte drink in your bottle all the way, and a caffeinated item when you want a lift. Start early, before energy drops, and take little and often.
-
A gel or chews. Both are quick to take at speed, so you never have to stop. Many riders fuel before a hard climb rather than on it, and little and often is easier than a big catch-up late on. If you start to flag, a gel and a few good gulps from your electrolyte bottle are the quickest things to reach for.
-
That is what the box is built for. Sixteen flavours, from bright lemon and mint to coffee and maple, dates and sea salt, so there is always something you fancy. We make eating the part of the ride you look forward to, and our bars are Great Taste Award winners.
-
Four items contain 75mg of natural caffeine each: Desto and Doppio gels, Amaro chews and Attivo electrolyte mix. The other 12 are caffeine free. Caffeinated products are not recommended for children, pregnant or breastfeeding women. Keep total caffeine below 375mg a day, the equivalent of five of these items.
-
All five gels are Informed Sport certified, which means each batch is tested for banned substances. Check each product page for the certification status of the chews, bars and drink mixes.
-
All 16 items are gluten free. Fourteen are vegan: the five gels, five chews, three electrolyte mixes and the Avanti bar. Classico and Ciocco contain honey, so they are vegetarian. The three bars contain tree nuts (almonds in all three and pecans in Avanti) and are not suitable for people with nut or peanut allergies, and the five chews may contain traces of nuts. Check the full allergen information on each product page.
-
Digestibility is part of how we craft every recipe. Everything in the box is made from real food, in formats from soft chews to sippable drink mixes. Everyone is different, so if you are new to higher carbohydrate intakes, build up gradually in training and try anything new on a training ride first.
-
There are no artificial colours, flavours, sweeteners or preservatives in any of the 16 products. The carbohydrate comes from fruit juice, dates and natural syrups, the sodium comes from salt, and every ingredient is listed on its product page. If you can read it, you can check it.
-
Our belief is simple: nature, no nonsense. Much of the nutrition industry has leaned on artificial shortcuts to hit its numbers. We craft every product as a recipe from real, recognisable ingredients, and shape it around what riders need: carbohydrate, sodium and, where you want it, caffeine. No artificial shortcuts, and no compromise on performance.
-
That is the idea: fit for your body, fit for performance. The box is built to perform on the bike and made from real food, so you can feel good about what you put in your body the rest of the time too. We never see those as a trade-off: performance today, longevity tomorrow.
-
It sits in Perform, our range for fuelling training and racing. Around it is the rest of our Real Nutrition for stronger, active bodies: Nourish for daily nutrition, Recover for after you finish, and Restore for collagen, magnesium and functional nutrition.
