    Trail Marathon Delights

    Great bundle for a few shorter races or as I did, a trail marathon (Tour de Wyddfa).

    The variety in flavour and how consumed (gel, hydration mix or jelly blocks) meant I was able to mix it up throughout the race depending on what I felt like eating or drinking.

    The caffeinated options taste great unlike other brands.

    The recovery shake was just what I needed post race, chocolate and banana which is lush.

    Mostly brilliant minus the gels

    I used this combination pack in order to run the Arc of Attrition 50 mile race and utilised one item per 30 minutes alongside other whole foods available at the aid stations along the way - I did not bonk and maintained good energy levels for the 13 hours I was running so they're very effective. The chews, bars and electrolytes really stand out for their great flavours but I must say the gels are TINY with only 22G of carbs and taste pretty bad, I ended up only having one of each flavour and opted to avoid the rest. The recovery shake is a great idea but again doesn't taste great at all. It's brilliant to have easily digestible non ultra processed foods available for us to utilise but gel size and flavour has to increase for the price you're charging!

    Returning to racing after breaking my foot on the Bob Graham last year, I ran a lumpy 30 miler at the end of December, I used the race bundle, great products, no gut issues and as the race progressed, I just got faster
