Suitable for all sports we recommended taking 2 chews every 20 minutes. For sessions lasting more than 90 minutes it's important to start re-fuelling from the start. Eat little & often & keep hydrated. For moderate intensity exercise you should aim to consume 45g-60g carbohydrates per hour - towards 45g for low intensity exercise & increasing to 60g-90g for higher intensity sessions.

Each pack of chews provides 60mg potassium and up to 100mg sodium. If you're exercising over 90 minutes or in hot or humid conditions, add an electrolyte drink to your fuelling regime.

I liked the flavour and the warmth in the mouth from the chilli, but I’m not keen on these kind of jellies that stick to my teeth. Also not convinced they gave me any energy hit… packaging is always a pain to open on the bike so would be good to see some innovations there from someone. I do love velofortes recipes and sticking to 100% natural ingredients and that’s the biggest pull for me

Afraid the flavour of these isn’t something I enjoyed whilst training. I like hot foods but not turbo training.
VVeloforte3 months agoHi Sarah, these Fiero are certainly on the hot side so perhaps you'd prefer cooling Fresco (lemon & cool mint) or soothing Mela (apple & cinnamon) instead :)
